Kindergarten

The Kindergarten classroom at Four Corners Montessori Academy is much like the other classrooms. You will find children working alone, or in groups doing activities according to skill level and interest. You will see children utilizing different Montessori tools to develop the skills necessary for their age group. At this age level, children are still in the "absorbent mind" period. In this period of development, children naturally incorporate experiences in the environment directly into their basic character and personality for life. This is unique to young children, and allows them to learn many concepts easily. Below are a list of skills Kindergarteners develop in the Montessori classroom.
